Baked Fish Cutlets

300 grams fish boiled

¼ cup fresh coriander chopped

½ table spoon black pepper powder

½ cup green coriander powder mint (pudina) and chili sauce

1 ½ large onion chopped, 1 egg

50 grams paneer

10-12 almonds (Badam), ½ table spoon salt

1-2 red chilli

Breadcrumbs to taste


  1. Clean and stem the fish and remove its bones. Mix salt, black pepper, fresh coriander and ½ chopped onion.
  2. Cut the remaining onion in rings and mash the paneer. Coat the fish with the mixture and mash it to a paste
  3. Put the mixture coated mashed fish on the pastry board and make square shaped cutlets by patting and pressing it by hands.
  4. Slice the cutlets horizontally into halves and lay in between 1 tsp. of coriander, mint and chilli sauce, 1 onion ring and 1 piece of paneer.
  5. Replace the upper and press to stick. Beat the egg and brush cutlets with it.
  6. Place 1 or 2 almonds and Red chilli on the top of the cutlets and press to set.
  7. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and bake in a oven.
