Dhoo Ka Chicken Pulao is very taste dish. Let us try this.

TIME TAKEN : 45 – 60 mins


Chicken – 1 kg
Rice – 3/4 kg
Milk – 1 1/2 liter
Green Chillies – 10
Peppercorn – 15
Cinnamon stick – 1 inch
Cloves – 4
Fennel – 1/2 tsp
Saffron – A pinch
Bay leaves – 4
Ghee 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
A few sprigs of coriander and mint


1. Fry the chicken in a little oil till pink and keep aside.
2. Boil the milk with spices and chicken till the meat is cooked.
3. Soak the rice in water for 30 mins and then boil for 3 mins with a few sprigs of green coriander, mint and salt.
4. Drain and keep aside.
5. In a thick bottomed vessel, line with the chicken pieces and rice and add the leftover milk.
6. Saffron can be added at this stage but its optional.
7. Add ghee and cook in the dum way till done.
