Turmeric – ¼ Tea Spoon
Garlic cloves – 10
Black gram dal – ½ Tea Spoon
Mustard seeds – ½ Tea Spoon

2. Add drum stick leaves to the Toor dal and pressure cook up to 3 whistles

4. Add turmeric, green chillis and salt to the dal and cook for few minutes
5. Add tamarind pulp to the dal and cook
6. Meanwhile take a pan and add little oil to it and heat
7. Add black gram , mustard seeds, cumin seeds and saute
8. When they start splutter add garlic cloves and dry red chilli and saute for a minute
9. Add the seasoning to the dal and turn off the flame
10. Serve with steamed rice
