green peas paratas

Green peas paratas are the healthy and mouth watering paratas which gives best taste with any raitha. Let us try this green peas parata recipe at home and enjoy the taste of it.
For the stuffing:
Boiled green peas – 2 cups
Green chillies – 5 (finely chopped)
Cumin seeds – 1 Tea Spoon
Ghee – 1 Table Spoon
Salt – to taste
For the dough:
Whole meal flour – 3 cups
Ghee – 2 Table Spoon
Salt – ½ tsp
For the stuffing:
1. Mash the boiled green peas.
2. Heat the ghee in a vessel and saute the cumin seeds in it.
3. Put the green chillis and saute for a minute and then put the mashed peas by adding salt.
4. Cook for 1 minute and allow the mixture to cool.
For the dough:
1. Sieve the flour with the salt.
2. Apply ghee to the flour. Add water and knead properly.
1. Take a small part of the dough, flatten a little and put 1 Table Spoon of the green peas mixture in the center.
2. Cover the mixture by drawing up the edges towards the center.

Press on the floured board and roll out in to a round saucer.
4. Put the parata on a hot griddle. Cook for a minute or two and turn once.
5. After a minute, put a little ghee around the edges, tuna gin and fry the other side.
6. When brown patches appear both sides, the parata is ready
7. Repeat the same procedure to the rest of the dough.
8. Serve hot with any raitha.
