Kabuli Chicken Pulao Rice 4

Kabuli Chicken Pulao rice is very taste and delicious desh.

INGREDIENTS:

Basmathi Rice – 2 cups
Split Skinless Moong Dal – 1/2 cup
Ghee – 1/2 cup
Water – 1/2 cup
Chicken broth – 5 cups
Onions – 3/4 cup [chopped]
Ginger – 1 inch [ chopped]
Cinnamon – 3 inch
Black peppercorn – 6
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Black Cardamoms – 3
Cloves – 6
Salt to taste
Almonds – 2 tbsp
Chicken Breast – 500 gms [cut into 3/4 cubes]

PROCESS:

1. Wash, Rinse, and presoak Rice and Moong Dal for 30 minutes.
2. Drain set aside.
3. Heat Ghee in a heavy bottom pan.
4. Add Cumin seeds. Sauté till seeds start to turn brown. 2 minutes.
5. Add onions and Sautee till onions start to turn brown. About 3 to 4 minutes.
6. Add ginger. Sautee about 2 minutes.
7. Add Chicken, Cinnamon, Peppercorn, Cardamoms, Cloves, and salt.
8. Sauté till chicken starts to turn white and slightly brown 6 to 10 minutes.
9. Add Rice and Moong Dal from Step 1. Stir well.
10. Add Water, Almond, Raisins, and Chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
11. Turn down heat. Cook covered till done (about 20 minutes)
12. Add more water if needed.
