Let us try the easy way of preparing KARIVEPAKU PODI at home and enjoy the great flavor of it.

Karivepaku  – 2 cups
Red chillis   – 50 g
Coriander seeds  – 2 Table Spoon
Cumin seeds  – 1 Tea Spoon
Oil    – 2 Table Spoon
Salt    – as per taste

1. Heat oil in a pan, fry curry leaves for a minute.

Remove and keep aside.

2. In the remaining oil, fry coriander seeds, red chillis, cumin seeds.
3. Mix all of them and blend to a fine powder using salt.
4. Store in a tight lid jar otherwise the aroma of the powder may disappear

This powder can be served with plain rice and Tiffin also.
