INGREDIENTS:
Chopped spinach leaves – 3 cups
Besan flour – 1 1/2 cups
Rice flour – 2 1/2 Table Spoons
Red chili powder – 1/2 Tea Spoon
Roasted cumin powder – 1/2 Tea Spoon
Green chilies (Finely chopped) – 2-3
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 Tea Spoon
Salt – to taste
Oil – for deep frying
PROCESS:
1. Clean spinach with water and keep aside.
2. Take a vessel and add Besan Flour, Rice Flour, Red Chilli Powder, roasted cumin powder, green chillis, ginger a�� garlic paste, Cooking Soda, Salt and 2 tablespoons hot oil to it and then mix well with of hand without allowing lumps to be formed.
3. The batter should just coat the palak and it should not be a loose batter
4. Heat oil in a Kadai. Once the oil is piping hot, reduce flame to medium and drop a little mixture of the batter to form fritters
5. Fry the pakodis in small batches.
6. The pakodis will take about 2 to 3 minutes to cook
7. Turn them occasionally. Fry the pakodis until both sides are golden-brown
8. Now the crispy palak pakodis are ready to serve
9. Serve hot with hot tea
