INGREDIENTS:
Rice – 3 cups
split black gram lentil – 1 cup
fenugreek seeds – 1 Tea Spoon
potato – 400 Grams
large sized onions – 2
paneer – 150 Grams
green chillies – 3
mustard seeds –
1 Tea Spoon
turmeric powder – 1/4 Tea Spoon
curry leaves – few
oil – as required
salt – 1 1/2 Tea Spoon
PROCESS:
1. Soak rice, dal and Fenu Greek seeds for 6 hours.
2. Then grind them in to a fine thin batter by adding little water.
3. Add salt to it and leave it covered for
12 hours for fermentation.
4. Peel potato and cut into small pieces.
5. Chop onion also into long pieces.
6. Grate paneer and keep aside
7. Finely
chop the green chillis also.
8. Heat 2 Table Spoons of oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves to it let them splutter
9. Then fry onion in it until it turns light brown.
10. Now put potato pieces , green chillis and paneer and mix well.
11. Now put 1/2 Tea Spoon of salt, red chilli powder and turmeric in it.
12. Fry for 2 minutes and remove it from the flame. Keep it aside for stuffing.
13. Now heat a non stick tawa and spread 1 tbsp of the batter on the whole of the pan.
14. When cooked spread paneer mixture on it.
15. Grease all the corners with oil.
16. Roll and remove it from the gas.
17. Put little water on the tawa and wipe it with a clean cloth before making each dosa.
18. Serve them hot with hot sambhar and chutney
