Saggubiyam Chicken Dumplings

Sabudhana Dumplings with combination of Chicken is one of the tasty and easy appetizer which can also be used in kids lunch box and they are healthy as well.

So lets see what are the ingredients it need to prepare.


Sago-2cup (sabudhana /saggubiyam )
Coriander leaves-3tsp
Fish sauce-3tsp
Salt to taste


1. Soak sago in warm water till soft, add salt and set aside.
2. Chop onion finely and Crush peanuts
3. Grind garlic, coriander leaves, peppercorns to a paste.
4. Heat oil in a pan and add ground paste and fry till smell arises.
5. Add onion and fry till it is brown.
6. Then add chicken and stir well.
7. When chicken is cooked, add peanuts, fish sauce, palm sugar and stir.
8. When contents are dry, switch off the stove.
9. When cool, roll into small balls.
10. Take a portion of sago and shape into a cup.
11. Place the chicken mix, cover and set aside.
12. Repeat the process.
13. Steam the dumplings.
